WHAT IS AN AUTOMATED GUIDED VEHICLE
AGVs have been around since the 1950s as a solution for moving heavy materials around large industrial buildings. The term AGV can apply to multiple types of vehicles, including carts, tuggers, forklifts, or unit load vehicles, and they are usually battery-powered.
Traditionally, AGVs were able to navigate through buildings by following marked lines on the floor, using wires that transmit radio signals or guide tape that the AGV follows with sensors.
The use of AGVs allows for warehouses to control costs and reduce unpredictability in material handling that need things moving at peak efficiency.
The fact that their path, acceleration, and deceleration can be controlled to maintain consistent, safe movement, along with automatic obstacle detection bumpers, makes AGVs safe in any work area.

Speed & Efficiency Combine’s lithium batteries are fast. They can be fast charged completely and can handle ultra-fast charging up to 1C (a full charge in 1hour). Lead-acid can only be fast-charged up to 80% after which charging current drops dramatically. Smart Battery Come! By connecting a Bluetooth or WIFI module, there are a multitude of possibilities for manufacturers and end users. This integration of a Bluetooth or WIFI module in the battery (a key part of a battery-powered application) not only allows access to data and parameters in the battery but also to information in the end application and the charger.
COMBINE developed an app for Android mobile phone, with which all relevant information from the battery can be read, displayed and evaluated. As required, access to battery and end device is possible. Using this app, the live data from the battery can also be graphically displayed and logged. The app can be provided with access rights or restrictions. Software can be tailored for your specific application in order to adapt the advantages of the system in devices already available on the market.
