Both imported and domestic forklift batteries have a cycle life cycle. As a user, how to give full play to the battery life depends on the correct use in the later period. The following summarizes the maintenance elements:
1. Daily maintenance
1) The battery should be charged immediately after each discharge.
2) Each discharge should not exceed 80% of the total battery capacity.
2. Weekly maintenance
1) Check whether the cable screws between the battery cells are fixed.
2) If the battery is not equipped with an automatic liquid filling system, after charging, check the electrolyte level. When it is lower than the allowable liquid level (the height of the isolation plate or the specified height), add qualified distilled water to the specified height. When there is too much electrolyte, pump it out to the specified height.
3) Check whether there is accumulated water in the battery box, if the accumulated water is found, it must be drained immediately.
3. Monthly maintenance
1) Before charging is completed, check the voltage of all electrode units and the battery. and record.
2) After charging, the electrolyte density and temperature of each battery cell should be measured and recorded. If there is a big difference from the previous measured value, a professional should be asked to check.
4. Annual maintenance
1) The battery should be checked by professionals once a year for the insulation resistance of the forklift and the insulation resistance of the battery. The insulation resistance of the battery is specified at 50 ohms/volt. A resistance of at least 1000 ohms to the entire battery (voltages up to 220 volts).
2) Check the charger according to the manual. Make sure everything functions properly.
5. General Precautions
1) The battery should be kept clean and dry to avoid creeping current.
2) If there is liquid in the battery box, it must be sucked out with a straw immediately.
3) If the internal and external paint of the battery is found to be damaged, it should be repaired immediately to protect the insulation of the outer box and prevent corrosion.
4) If it is found that the battery unit needs to be replaced, it should be carried out by professionals.
6. Storage of batteries.
1) The battery should be stored in a dry, frost-free place.
2) If the battery is to be put into use at any time, the following points should be handled.
(1) Compensate charging once a month. The charging voltage is an average of 2.23 volts per cell
(2) Please note that storage for too long will affect the overall battery life.
7. Automatic water adding system and air disturbance system
