Lithium-ion batteries are by far the most popular battery storage option today and control more than 90 percent of the global grid battery storage market. Compared to other battery options, lithium-ion batteries have high energy density and are lightweight. New innovations, such as replacing graphite with silicon to increase the battery’s power capacity, are seeking to make lithium-ion batteries even more competitive for longer-term storage.
Additionally, lithium-ion batteries are now frequently used in developing countries for rural electrification. Combine's Battery Packs are 100% inspected before delivery include but not limited to Battery Capacity, Pressure Difference, Temperature Difference and Temperature rise. The test could confirm function of the battery, battery welding conditions, connection between the cells and BMS function.

Capacity & Cycle Life One of the most important benefits of Combine’s choice of lithium is the dramatic increase in energy density over current lead-acid battery solutions. Combine uses Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LiFePO4) which has a specific energy of ~110 watt-hours per kilogram, compared to lead-acids ~40 watt-hours per kilogram. What does this mean? Our batteries can be ~1/3 the weight for similar amp-hour ratings. | ![]() |
Speed & Efficiency
Combine’s lithium batteries are fast. They can be fast charged completely and can handle ultra-fast charging up to 1C (a full charge in 1hour). Lead-acid can only be fast-charged up to 80% after which charging current drops dramatically.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
COMBINE's quality department maintains records on each and every component and battery pack. All components that are used in battery packs undergo full incoming inspection to insure that they are compliant with all associated drawings. Component vendors are required to provide a certificate of conformance with every shipment and are maintained on file. All battery packs are subject to final inspection before packaging. Records are maintained for each battery including cell lot information, weld pull tests data and other key information.
