Use the charger correctly
Determine if the AC power source matches the charger input voltage.
Check whether the output voltage of the charger matches the rated voltage of the battery.
Insert the plug that connects the charger to the battery box first, then the AC power plug.
The charger is used indoors and should be protected from moisture and vibration. It is strictly forbidden to cover it when charging, and it should be placed in a place with ventilation and heat dissipation.
The battery cannot be charged all the time
1. Lead-acid batteries are not lithium batteries and cannot be recharged at any time. The life of lead-acid batteries is calculated by the number of times of charging and discharging.
2. When charging, the indicator light of the charger is a red light and then a green light. After the light turns green, the floating charge should be guaranteed for 2 hours, which is good for suppressing the vulcanization of the battery.
Prevent battery overcharging
1. When the battery is overcharged, a large amount of gas is generated to wash the electrode plate, which accelerates the falling off of the active material on the electrode plate and shortens the battery life.
2. The overcharge of the battery will accelerate the water loss, which will cause the electrolyte to dry up and the temperature of the battery to rise, resulting in thermal runaway, expansion of the pole plate, and deformation of the shell.
Prevent battery over-discharge
Pay attention to skills in the use of battery cars, which can also prolong the service life of the battery. Long-term deep discharge will cause the battery plate to soften and shorten the service life.
1. To prevent high current discharge, try to use your feet to assist when starting, going uphill and driving against the wind.
2. To prevent long-term discharge, do not often run out of electricity. To charge when the battery is reduced by 1/2.
Prevent battery loss
For batteries that have been put aside for a long time, they should be fully charged once a month. Generally, it is better to continue floating charge for 5 hours after the red light of the charger turns to green.
Take care of the battery frequently
Although the electric vehicle battery is maintenance-free, after the battery has been used for half a year, with the continuous consumption of water, the vulcanization and softening of the plate will occur, which will cause the battery capacity to decrease or even fail. Choose to supplement the nano-carbon sol battery activator and an appropriate amount of distilled water (not too much) to extend the battery life to more than two years.
