1. The quality of the battery separator is poor or defective, and the active material of the plate penetrates, resulting in virtual or direct contact between the positive and negative plates;
2. The battery separators are connected in series so that the positive and negative plates are connected;
3. The active material on the plate expands and falls off. Due to the excessive precipitation of the fallen active material, the lower edge or side edge of the positive and negative plates is in contact with the sediment, causing the positive and negative plates to be connected; high current charging or charger mismatch , Failure to charge in time after use, high charging temperature, high specific gravity of electrolyte, etc.;
4. Conductive objects fall into the battery, causing the positive and negative plates to be connected;
5. The lead current formed during the welding of the pole group is not completely removed, or there are lead beans between the positive and negative plates during assembly, and the separator is damaged during the charging and discharging process, causing the positive plates and the plates to be connected.
How to solve the short circuit of forklift battery?
1. If the short circuit of the battery is not serious, you can disassemble the battery, clean the plate or remove the substance causing the short circuit, replace the separator and then recharge.
2. If the battery is seriously short-circuited, you can only choose to replace the damaged unit, and the short-circuited battery will be scrapped and recycled.
